Typical Engraving Services from Scanned Images. Engraving flat surfaces with a Laser creates a crisp, deep profile on the carved surface that can have a resolution of over 900 dots per inch. Each dot or pulse of the laser vaporizes the material to a depth determined by the darkness of the pattern used in the engraving. The darker the image, the deeper the dot. We use the engraving or Raster process to create labels, medallions, name plates, bar codes and photograph images on surfaces from wood to metal. Each image is created from stock graphics, scanned artwork or we draw up custom art, just for you. The products created by this engraving tool are clean, clear focused and very legible in small details and typefaces.
All surfaces of a gift box can be decorated with patterns or the messages you bring to your gift recipient. OTHER ENGRAVING POSSIBILITIES:The engraving equipment does not touch the surface of the material, only the light is the engraver. Glass engraves with a micro-chip frosted surface.
Even cylinders of wood such as wooden spoon handles or ends of wood pegs can be engraved.
