BOTANISTS FLOWER AND LEAF PRESS 
Cascadian Design Studio offers a new, line of gift items for
customers who like plants and the joy they bring to gardeners. We have a
botanical display series of plant presses, special display frames for pressed
flowers and plant collection storage boxes. These items have been created to
function well as plant collection tools and are constructed of wood to enhance
the plant handling and preservation. First item you need is a plant press that
holds the specimen flat and allows slow drying. This drying process must be
slow enough to prevent overdrying and fast enough to keep the specimen from
spoiling and loosing it’s form. Our press design allows for just the right rate
of dry.
PRESSED FLOWER DISPLAY FRAMES:
Second, you need to have botanical display mounts that preserve
the dried specimens and allow your continuous enjoyment of the flowers and
plants. Our acrylic display mounts in wood frames preserve the plant and the
visual enjoyment of your efforts. We also provide all the storage options and
preservation techniques for each season of plant collection. Spring flowers to
Fall leaves, everything is now part of your extended plant enjoyment season.

CASCADIAN GARDEN PATH MARKER STAKES:
New items we plan to offer this summer is engraved garden plant markers.
These hardwood stakes will have a distinctive design with your favorite garden
features and plant names engraved on the face of the stakes. They are all
wood so they fit right in to your woodland garden setting. Stakes are custom
labeled to your plant inventory with scientific and common names and include
your name as the gardener responsible for the planting. These are sold as
a 12 peg set.
ENGRAVED PLANT SPECIMEN STORAGE BOXES:
For long term storage of
botanica l collections, we offer a hardwood plywood, bookshelf slip case.
It is sized to fit the plant press and plant collection sheets. The case
has laser cut openings to ventilate your stored plants and preserve your
collection throughout the year. We offer custom engraving of your personal
signature or favorite plant graphic on the spine of the box.
CUSTOM GARDENER'S THEME PLANT STENCIL:
For the flower lover, a stencil of their favorite flower. We offer a
custom cut stencil to your specific size. Each design is unique and ready
for application of personal decorations to your cloth gardening tool bag, garden
shed cabinet door and even marking dormant flower beds with a splash of lime
dust to remind visitors of the hidden flowers below.
ENGRAVED FLORAL DISPLAY VASES:
Clear Glass, Square Box Shape, Flower Vase with Engraving surfaces on any or all
four sides for your favorite quote, poem or graphics.
These vases make excellent awards, personal gift ware or memorial flower
displays. They are ready to ship after your message has been engraved on the
surface. Engraving process creates a light frosted fill and text is
ledgible
down to 1/8" type. Laser engraving creates a very sharp focus and the
messages are easy to read.
